“Serenity amidst chaos was painted in 2023 during Carnival. I understand that people want to have fun and forget about everything during this period, perhaps as a way to escape reality and live a momentary fantasy. In any case, I believe there is a time and place for that. Not everyone gives in to the “Carnival spirit” and that should be respected. In that Carnival, I sought as much tranquility as I could and “Serenity amidst chaos” was painted to portray that search.”
